Elizabeth House
Elizabeth House provides safety, hope and support to homeless, pregnant women and their children by addressing their physical, emotional, and economic needs in our nurturing residential program. Committed to breaking cycles that lead to homelessness, child abuse, domestic violence, and poverty, we deliver long-term Alumni Services that empower long-term success. Our Pasadena Residential Program serves 8 families at time, starting at pregnancy and up to 4 months after babies’ births. We provide full-scope services in our home-like environment, e.g: professional counseling; substance abuse recovery; parenting classes, domestic violence counseling; career/life-skills development, mentoring, case management, etc. As transformation takes time, we commit to life-long family support through Alumni Services at our adjacent Community Center. Serving 175 alumnae annually, we offer services received in residence and new programs, like support groups, leadership development, and child development.
