PCDA Professional Child Development Associates
PCDA serves birth through 21 years of age providing a wide range of therapy services, including early intervention, occupational therapy, speech and language therapy (including AAC), child and family counseling, feeding services, social skills groups, Floortime intervention, Teen Club, Young Adults program, Parent classes, music therapy, adapted music and dance classes, summer creative arts camp, adapted choir, Young Athletes Special Olympics, and more! Most services are funded through the regional center. We serve children with autism, intellectual disability, genetic syndromes, and other developmental challenges affecting social skills, behavior, communication, and thinking. PCDA uses a DIR/Floortime approach to intervention which focuses on relationships, including parents, family and peers, and the process of learning through emotionally meaningful interactions.
